Hurricane. human hair and clay, 2mx80", 2003

This piece was inspired by a hurricane the artist witnessed in Mexico and the condition of many of the remnants found after the hurricane, washed up on the beach, heavily weathered by sun and salt with cracked surface. The cracked clay in this piece is held together by the human hair.
